Shades of White boasts its privileged location in the southern part of Santorini. Situated away from the crowds and the noise, in Emporio village, a traditional village in Santorini with a glorious past. As its name suggests (Emporio meaning Commerce in Greek), this used to be the commercial hub of the entire island. 
From Emporio, travelers are able to access the Archaeological Site of Akrotiri within a few minutes. This is a prominent settlement dating all the way back to Theran antiquity, well preserved to this day. Besides Akrotiri excavations, the most famous beaches of Santorini are easily accessed from Emporio and Shades of White. The Red Beach, the White Beach and of course the Black Beach all reveal the uniqueness of the island, through their distinctive pebbles and rock formations. Other points of interest feature Kamari, Perissa and Perivolos beaches. 
Santorini Airport is located in a distance of under 10 miles from the property, while the port is also easily accessed. Fira is about the same distance as the airport and allows travelers to discover the colorful lifestyle and vibrant nightlife of the island.
